Jensen, Louise Ann (Murray)

Louise Ann (Murray) Jensen, 66, of Marion, passed on Sunday, July 28, 2013, at home. Memorial service: 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, 2013, at Prairie Chapel United Methodist Church in rural Marion by the Rev. Jon Moss. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion. Private family inurnment: Blodgett Cemetery in rural Central City.

Survivors include her son, Eric (Cathleen) Jensen of Chicago; her daughter, Susan Faley of Marion; a brother, Bob (Sherry) Murray of Marion; three nephews, Allen, Douglas and David Murray; three granddaughters, Hannah, Holly and Hope; and close family friend, David Humphrey of Cedar Rapids.

Louise was born Nov. 22, 1946, the daughter of Harold and Susan (Baily) Murray in Cedar Rapids. She married Jack Jensen in June of 1966. They had two children and later divorced. Louise graduated from Linn-Mar Class of 1965 and attended St. Luke's School of Nursing. She worked at St. Luke's Hospital as an LPN for over 30 years and later as a massage therapist in Marion.

Louise enjoyed golf, antiques, crafts, gardening and especially her granddaughters.

A memorial fund has been established in Louise's memory.
