Dorothy L. Jensen, 84, of Cedar Rapids, died on Dec. 24, 2015, at her residence at Heritage Nursing Home. Her beloved grandson, Alexander C. Potts, saw her suffering and on Dec. 23, 2015, prayed to his angel baby boy Maximus to take her hand in his and lead her to eternal peace with him.
During her stay at Heritage Nursing Home, she received exceptional loving care from the staff who adored her and enjoyed her spunkiness and stories of her life.
She leaves behind her four children, David, Raymond, Ramona and LaDonna; and many grandchildren. She was known as a strong, capable, independent, loving woman to her children, extended family and to her beloved pets.
