Bonnie Sellers, 59, of Cedar Rapids, gained her angel wings on June 10, 2015, at the Ed & Joan Hemphill Hospice Center in Cedar Rapids after a long battle with cancer. Family will greet friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 14, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her husband, David Sellers; daughter, Alison, her husband, Daniel, and their children; mother, Virginia Weber; brother-in-law, Johnnie Altenhofen; brother, Steve (Judy) Weber; brother, Glen (Carol) Weber; sister, Carol (Chad) Liddle; father and mother-in-law, William and Carol Sellers; brother-in-law, Walter Sellers; brother-in-law, Don (Merna) Sellers; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ed Weber; sister, Rita Jean Altenhofen; and nephew, Jason Weber.
Bonita Claire Weber was born on Jan. 25, 1956, in Washington, Iowa. The fourth child of Edward W. and Virginia R. (Greiner) Weber, she graduated from Sigourney High School in 1974, and later attended Wartburg College. Bonnie was a proud employee of Rockwell Collins for 35 years.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Ghosh and his staff for their support, guidance and love. Many thanks to the staff of the Ed & Joan Hemphill Hospice Center for caring for our entire family during some of our hardest days along with the Unity Point Hospice team for guiding us in the best direction.
