Lynn (Scott) Hansen, 79, passed away Saturday, Dec. 17, 2016, in Seattle, Wash., surrounded by her family.
Lynn was born May 18, 1937, in Marion, Iowa, to LeRoy and Leona Scott. She graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in health and nutrition. She was married to Arlen J. Hansen of Rolfe, Iowa, for 33 years until his death in 1993. Lynn lived most of her life in Stockton, Calif., later moving to Lake Tahoe and then Seattle.
She was an avid traveler, living for a time in England, Austria and Germany. Her favorite city was Paris, a love she shared with her husband and family.
She enjoyed fishing, hiking, cooking, and spending time with family.
We will miss her wry sense of humor and her superior martinis.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. June 24 at Prairie Chapel Church, Marion, conducted by Pastor Jon Moss. Burial: Prairie Chapel Cemetery, Marion.
