Dolores M. Mrstik, 81, of Marion, died Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014, at Bickford Senior Living Center,
Marion. Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, conducted by the Rev. Dick Ernst, chaplain at Bickford Cottage. Family will greet friends from 9 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her children, Kenneth of Garrison, David (Deb) of Phoenix, Ariz., Jerry of Cedar Rapids, Neal (Lisa) of Arlington Heights, Ill., Linda (Duane) Wetzel of Metropolis, Ill., and Diana Mrstik of Milwaukee, Wis.; one brother; three sisters; numerous grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ray; and sister, Betty Ellis.
Dolores was born Jan. 9, 1933, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, daughter of Leo and Lillie McGowan. On Dec. 23, 1953, she married Ray Mrstik. He died Nov. 28, 2008. She loved crocheting, flowers, plants and bird watching.
