McNeal, Lucy
Lucy McNeal, 85, of Mount Vernon, died Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at Hallmark Care Center. Graveside services: 2 p.m. Monday at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her children, Patricia (Robert) Patten of Gilbert, Ariz., Danny (Linda) McNeal of Mount Vernon and Randy (Kathy) McNeal of Marion; daughter-in-law, Twyliah McNeal of Coggon; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn; son, Steven; three brothers, Bobby, Perry and Johnny; sister, Betty Jo Shaull; and stepbrother, Bruce Ray.
Lucy was born July 26, 1927, in Marvin, Mo. She married Glenn in Olathe, Kan., on June 1, 1947. He died in 1981.
