Shirley Florene Montz, was born Oct. 5, 1929, in Sigourney, Iowa. Shirley died on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2018, at the English Valley Care Center in North English at the age of 89 years.
She is survived by three sons and their wives, Avery and Carol Montz of Webster, Iowa, Neil and Debbie Montz of Corydon, Iowa, and Kim and Kimberly Montz of Webster, N.Y.; seven grandchildren, Noel (Lisa) Montz, Craig (Tina) Montz, Ryan Montz, Caleb (Victoria) Montz, Nathan Montz, Rachel (Jon) Erville and Cyan (Brandon) Miller; and seven great-grandchildren, Aiden, Conner, Lason, James, Rosalie and Morgan Montz and Braden Miller.
Celebration of Life memorial service will be held 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018, at the Webster United Methodist Church in Webster. The Rev. Vince Homan and the Rev. Charles Klink will officiate. Visitation will be on Saturday from 1 p.m. until service time at the church.
