Sieren, Bernadine M.
Bernadine M. Sieren, 90, of Keota, died Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2011, at Mercy Iowa City. Funeral Mass: 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, at Holy Trinity Parish- St. Mary Catholic Church in Keota, with the Rev. Charles Fladung officiating. Burial: Holy Trinity Cemeteries-St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Harper. Visitation: 4 until 7 p.m. Friday at Powell Funeral Home in Keota, where there will be a wake service at 7 p.m.
Survivors include four children, Carol Ann Kaalberg (Gayle) of West Liberty, Sharon Sieren (Larry Galau) of Apple Valley, Minn., Daniel Sieren (Mary) of Harper and Cindy Johnson (Donald) of Fenton, Mo.; daughter-in-law, Eloise Sieren of Keota; 14 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; two brothers, Keith Beinhart of Sigourney and Robert “Bob” Beinhart of Harper; and one sister, Betty Adam of Fairfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Ronald; and four sisters, Helen Pence, Theola Beinhart, Claudine Flander and Burnita Sieren.
A general memorial fund has been established.
Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Keota is caring for Bernadine and her family.
