Decorah
Ronald "Ron" Anderson, 67, of Decorah, died suddenly June 26, 2014, at Winneshiek Medical Center in Decorah. A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Monday, June 30, at Schluter-Balik Funeral Home in Decorah, with the Rev. Phil Olson presiding. Burial will be in Bloomfield Cemetery, Castalia. Friends may call after 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Ron is survived by his wife, Jeanette Anderson, Decorah; two children, Jaima Anderson, Milwaukee, Wis., and Daniel Anderson, Marquette; two grandchildren, Jacqueline and Keith Anderson; his mother, Rosemarie Anderson, Decorah; two brothers, Robert "Bob" Anderson and Rick (Barb) Anderson, Decorah; his aunt, Marlyce Murdoch, Marion; two sisters-in-law, Josie Andrew, Cedar Rapids, and Barb Sharp, Geneva, Ill.; along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Ron was preceded in death by his father, Leon "Andy" Anderson, on Feb. 7, 1992; his father- and mother-in-law, Everett and Roberta Andrew; brother-in-law, Steve Andrew; uncle, George Murdoch; and close friend, Arnie Fortman.
