SCOTT C. ANDERSON Cedar Rapids Scott C. Anderson, 57, of Omaha, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Aug. 5, 2016. Scott was born Aug. 19, 1958, in Cedar Rapids. He was preceded in death by his father, Carlyle Anderson; and stepfather, Frank Torrens. Surviving are his wife, Rebecca of Omaha; children, Jason M. Anderson of Cedar Rapids and Zachary Anderson and Lauren Anderson of Omaha; granddaughter, Chloe; mother, Helen Torrens of Cedar Rapids; sisters, Shelly Anderson-Wirtz (Peter) of Sarasota, Fla., Debi Anderson of Cedar Rapids and Kris Anderson-Bushman (Bruce) of Spokane, Wash.; and nieces, Brooke, Emma and Abby. Memorial services: 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 11, at Reichmuth Funeral Home in Elkhorn. No visitation; interment will be private. Memorials to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
