Justina Marie Steffen, newborn infant daughter of Randall and Kara (Leymaster) Steffen, died Monday, Jan. 8, 2018, at University Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, Iowa.
Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 15, 2018, at St. Athanasius Catholic Church, Jesup, Iowa, with burial at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Cemetery, Baldwinsville, N.Y. Visitation from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 14, 2018, at the White Funeral Home, Jesup, IA, with a rosary at 5 p.m. Visitation continues for an hour before services Monday at the church. Justina is survived by her parents, Randall and Kara Steffen of Liverpool, N.Y.; one sister, Sophia Steffen; and six brothers, Alexander, Maxwell, Henry, Timothy, Lucas and Neil Steffen, all at home; maternal grandparents, Ted and Cheryl Leymaster of Jesup; paternal grandmother, Margaret Steffen of Dunkerton, Iowa; and maternal great-grandparents, Homer and Ruth Anne Leymaster of Cedar Falls, Iowa, and Neil and Eula Wood of Marion, Iowa.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Sharon Leymaster; and paternal grandfather, Cletus Steffen.
