Tom Dresen, 61, of Oelwein, died Saturday evening, Nov. 14, 2009, at his home in Oelwein. Funeral services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Zion Lutheran Church, Oelwein, with the Rev. Leo Combs-Lay officiating. Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home, Oelwein, and for one hour before services Wednesday at the church. Military memorial services: 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, by Oelwein American Legion Ross Reid Post 9. Interment: Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, rural Oelwein.
A memorial fund has been established for the Oelwein Husky Booster Club.
