Michael "Red" E. Thompson, 61, of Marion, died Tuesday morning, May 5, 2015, at the Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, Hiawatha. Per Red's request, there will be no visitation or services. A celebration of life will be
at a later date.
Surviving are his siblings, Linda (Russ) Sickles, M. Pat and Marc, all of Cedar Rapids, Dick of Marion and Ronald of Davenport; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Red was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Mary Ruth.
