Lois May Thompson, 83, passed peacefully Sunday, May 3, 2015, with family by her side.
She was born May 29, 1931, in Sandusky, Ohio, to Samuel J. and Katherine A. Meek. She married Charles E. Thompson in 1950.
She is survived by her children, Teresa (Lawrence) Bartlett, Tracy (Gary) Cole, Chip (Judy) Thompson and Katherine (Michael) McLaud; a sister, Jean Weigel; nine grandchildren; and 13
great-grandchildren.
In all her family she instilled an amazing sense of humor, an artistic bent and the knack to fix anything or anyone that was broken. For a small woman she was ten foot tall and bullet proof. What we sent to the almighty was what was left.
A Celebration of Life will be at her daughter's home at 2130 O Ave. NW on Friday, May 8, from
4 to 8 p.m.
