'On the Record' this week discusses drunk driving with guest Linn County Attorney Jerry Vander Sanden.
Vander Sanden dicusses Steven Viers, 55, of Cedar Rapids, who was convicted Friday, Sept. 18 for his 16th OWI in Linn County. He was sentenced to 20 years in prison for his 15th and 16th convictions. He was found guilty in March of OWI, third offense, as a habitual offender, and driving while barred. Viers pleaded guilty in July to his 15th OWI, third offense, and driving while barred from 2013.
