DARLENE NELSON Iowa City Darlene M. Nelson, 83, lifelong resident of this area, died Friday, May 15, 2015, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 19, at the River Community Church in Iowa City, with burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
