Washington's Nimmers, Prairie's Rima commit to UNI

CEDAR RAPIDS — Cedar Rapids Washington senior Isaiah Nimmers announced Sunday on Twitter that he has committed to play college football for Northern Iowa.
Cedar Rapids Prairie receiver Jalen Rima announced Saturday via Twitter that he was also heading to UNI.
Nimmers was a three-year starter for the Warriors at wide receiver and cornerback, helping them compile a 29-6 record and runner-up finish in Class 4A in 2014. He is 5-foot-9 and 175 pounds.
Rima had 15 touchdowns in Prairie's unique single-wing offense. He is the son of Prairie and Kirkwood Community College baseball coach Todd Rima.
National signing day is February 3.
