Video Sessions - Stood next to the newest Hawkeye

I happened to be standing next to Lucas LeGrand, Iowa's newest commitment for the 2014 class, and his family during Wednesday's 15-minute window for photo/video. He is definitely commitment No. 3.
Very nice family from Dubuque. Iowa assistants Eric Johnson, Reese Morgan and Brian Ferentz stepped out of practice for a second to congratulate the family, which was decked out in black and gold.
The 6-5, 260-pounder also had an offer from Northern Colorado and interest from Northwestern, Iowa State and Kansas State. I think I heard he was a 4.0 student and wants to be a doctor.
The state of Iowa is stacked for 2014 football recruits. LeGrand is the sixth in-state prospect that the Hawkeyes have offered. Iowa has commits Cedar Falls OL Ross Pierschbacher and La Porte City Union QB Jay Scheel. Iowa also has offered Urbandale WR Allen Lazard, an ISU commitment, Indianola OL Keegan Render and Cedar Rapids Xavier TE/DE Matt Nelson.
Is a Stanford offer something to sweat with Pierschbacher, a Rivals top 100 player ranked No. 79 in the nation? Judging from his Twitter, no. But it's just less than a year before these guys sign and anything can happen.
Here's video.
I'm not a videographer, and I've really come to appreciate the craft.
The last video was a sweep to Weisman, whose jersey will be on sale at Scheel's relatively soon. (He's the guy this season.)
Running back Mark Weisman looks for daylight during Wednesday's practice. Weisman bounced between RB and FB. (Jim Slosiarek/The Gazette)
