Warren, Helen Lois
Helen Lois Warren of Highlands Ranch, Colo., died Saturday, Sept. 26, 2012.
Helen was born Sept. 15, 1918, in Fort Dodge, Iowa to Paul and Bessie Walterick. Helen retired from Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Cedar Rapids in 1980 and relocated to Hot Springs Village, Ark., for 24 years. Helen returned to Cedar Rapids in 2003, then followed family to Highlands Ranch, Colo., in March 2012.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Cline; two sons, Tommy and Lon; and two sisters, Betty and Beryl.
Survivors include daughter-in-law, Susan Warren of Highlands Ranch; twin sons, Jack and wife Clara of Thornton, Colo., and Jim and wife Janet of Alexandria, Va.; one brother, Don and wife Dorothy Walterick of Medville, Ore.; six grandchildren, Debbie Koos, Brad, Steven, Justin, Shane, and Kai Warren; and five great-grandchildren, Ashley, Kyle, and Trevor Koos, Eleanor and Kiana Warren.
The body will be cremated and the memorial service will be held Dec. 22 in Colorado.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
