CEDAR RAPIOS - A Cedar Rapids business-to-business sales agency is adding new account executives as it expands its use of a revenue share structure with Fortune 500 clients.
Infinity (formerly Infinity Contact), 4700 Tama St. Dr. SE, is looking to hire 50 new full-time-equivalent employees in the next two months and an additional 50-plus sales professionals in the next year. The 20-year-old company operates with a revenue share structure, getting paid on every dollar sold.
In a news release, Infinity President & CEO Tom Leidigh said the company's proprietary revenue system, Buyerlytics, is a platform for guiding talent management, analyzing data, and optimizing sales execution. He said the approach maximizes performance and increases client value and differentiates Infinity from other inside sales organizations.
'The enemy is status quo,” Leidigh said. 'All Infinity employees are challenged with creativity, efficiency, and improved return on investment for clients.”
Historically, Infinity had operated as a typical contact center, billing clients and compensating employees on hours worked. Only a small percentage of billings was based on sales performance.
Leidigh said Buyerlytics enables Infinity to increase compensation and offer unlimited commission potential to its account executives and sales managers.
'Our clients prefer revenue share, because we share the risk and reward of our performance. We only succeed if they do,” Leidigh said. 'Our account executives started developing a business owner mentality. They see their effort reflected in their paychecks.”
Infinity, which also has an office in Farmington Hills, Mich., redesigned its Cedar Rapids facility in 2015 to include a break area with fresh food options, recreational space complete with table tennis and pool tables, and more open collaboration areas for teams to meet and drive performance.
Leidigh said Infinity expects to double its sales force this year. The company is looking for employment candidates with automotive experience in car dealerships, repair, or services.
After training, an account executive meeting sales goals should see annual compensation around $50,000, including base pay and commission.
