CEDAR RAPIDS — Andrew Todd has found his college home.
The junior offensive lineman from Cedar Rapids Washington gave his verbal commitment Thursday night to play college football at Miami (Ohio). The 6-foot-4, 270-pounder had scholarship offers from numerous FBS and FCS programs.
He is considered one of the top five in-state players in the 2018 graduating class.
'It takes a lot of work, first and foremost,' Todd told The Gazette in a story this past fall on getting noticed by college recruiters. 'It takes being really dedicated to your craft and being able to wake up every single day to go and get better. That's the only way you can do it.'
Todd said Thursday night he preferred not to do any interviews right now on his commitment.
