Helen G. Erion, 82, of Marion, died Sunday, April 27, 2014, in Winslow House. Memorial Services: 10 a.m. Thursday, May 1, at Cedar Memorial Westside Chapel, where a visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m.
Wednesday.
Survivors include her daughter, Jeanne G. Hunt of Cedar Rapids; her grandchildren, Sandy Helle of Marion, Ron Upham of Minneapolis, Minn., Rick Hunt of Cedar Rapids, Todd Erion of Miamaburg, Ohio, and April Erion of Miamaburg, Ohio; great-grandchildren, Justin Bailey of Marion, Tyler Upham of Minneapolis, Minn., Jackson Upham of Minneapolis, Minn., and Matthew Helle of Marion.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Claude Hedges.
Helen was born Nov. 5, 1931, in Kentucky. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed dressing up as a clown and Santa Claus, visiting children at the hospitals, as well as being a volunteer. She enjoyed being with children and helping them. She also loved to shop and walk.
