Lois Maxine Ahrens passed away Monday, April 24, 2017, at the Rose Haven Nursing Home in Marengo at the age of 100.
A Celebration of Life Service will be 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 27, at First Lutheran Church, north of Conroy, Iowa. Burial will be at the church cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home, Williamsburg. Memorials are for the First Lutheran Church or Hospice of Compassus of Cedar Rapids. Survivors are two sons, Richard Ahrens of Conroy and Stephen (Sue) Ahrens of Conroy; a daughter, Julie O'Donnell of Minneapolis, Minn.; a son-in-law, Norbert Neira of Cedar Rapids; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Jean Davis of Oskaloosa.
