Charles J. Becker, 84, Cedar Rapids, formerly of Norway, died Saturday, April 4, 2015, at the Keystone Care Center. Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 8, at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Norway, with the Rev.
Craig Steimel officiating. Burial: St. Patrick and St. Paul Cemetery, Watkins. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at St. Michael's Parish Center, with a rosary at 7 p.m.
Charles was born Feb. 3, 1931, in Watkins, to Bernard and Elizabeth Stark Becker. On Sept. 9, 1954, he married Phyllis Shea at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Fairfax.
Charles is survived by his wife; children, Carol (Dave) Mundell, Gene Becker, Diane (Steve) Wiley, Kathy (Charlie) Stumpff, Jeff (Laurie) Becker, Julie Smith and Alan (Cheryl) Becker; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Coletta Frese.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Gladys Fox.
Arrangements are with Brosh Funeral Service, Norway.
