Wardenburg, Leona Lenora
Leona Lenora Wardenburg, 94, died Monday, April 16, 2012, at Colonial Manor in Amana.
She is survived by her children, Richard (Judy) Wardenburg of Parnell, Karen (Gerald) Schwarting of Amana, and Marleen (Ron) Schmidt of Orlando, Fla.; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a brother-in-law, Arthur Johnson of Martelle.
Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 19, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Williamsburg. The Rev. Carl Cloeter will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Williamsburg. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Powell Funeral Home, Williamsburg.
A memorial fund has been established for St. Paul Lutheran Church, Lutheran Interparish School or Essence of Life Hospice.
