Thomas "Tom" Robert Malatek, 67, of Ely, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 13, 2018, at the Ed and Joan Hemphill Hospice at UnityPoint Health-St. Luke's. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at the Celebration Farm, Double Round Barn, located at 4696 Robin Woods Ln. NE, Iowa City, IA 52240. Celebration of Life services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, April 19, 2018, at the Celebration Farm. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Solon, where full military rites will be conducted by the Solon American Legion. A Celebration of Life gathering will be from 12:30 to
3:30 p.m. following the committal at Oakland Cemetery at The Avacentre at Brosh Chapel in Solon.
