Reeve, Mary L.
Mary L. Reeve, 82, of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, April 7, 2012, at Mercy Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 11, at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Cedar Memorial's certified celebrant, Julie Freese will officiate. Visitation will begin after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Chapel of Memories. Entombment will take place at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Surviving are her husband, Buck Reeve; her children, Mike Reeve and wife Vicki of Cedar Rapids, and Kim Duncan and husband David of Joplin, Mo.; and her grandchildren, Lesley Schieltz and husband Cory and their daughter Chloe, Michael Reeve Jr. all of Cedar Rapids, John Duncan of Chicago, and Max Duncan of Joplin, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a half-sister, Juanita.
Mary Louise Reeve was born Dec. 13, 1929, in Jacksonville, Ill., the daughter of Earl and Margaret White. She was united in marriage to C.A. Buck Reeve on Aug. 27, 1950, in Jacksonville, Ill. In her younger days, she enjoyed playing tennis and bridge. Her greatest enjoyment was time spent with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchild.
Memorial donations in Mary's honor may be made to the American Cancer Society.
