Perrin, Michael Shane
Michael Shane Perrin, 46, died Sunday, April 14, 2013, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids. Services will be noon Wednesday, April 17, at Goettsch Funeral Home in Anamosa. Pastor Bill Nielsen will officiate at the service. Visitation will begin 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Surviving are his wife, Melissa; eight children, Maria Dennis, Shana (Cory) Kapsalaskis, Michael Perrin Jr., all of Cedar Rapids, Kayla Hurt of Strawberry Point, Jacob Perrin, Zachary Perrin, Samantha Perrin and Chase Perrin, all of Anamosa; a sister, Heidi (Pete) Sauer of Cedar Rapids; two brothers, Dan (Terri) Perrin of Center Point and Travis Cejka of Cedar Rapids; grandmother, Helen Perrin of Cedar Rapids; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Dixie Perrin; and grandfather, Lee Perrin.
Michael Shane Perrin was born Dec. 7, 1966, in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Jim Kleppe and Dixie Perrin. Michael was a welder by trade. On March 3, 2003, Michael and Melissa Lawrence were united in marriage in Anamosa.
Michael enjoyed fishing, camping, NASCAR and spending time with his children.
