Kathleen Engle passed away March 14, 2017, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, Hiawatha, after a sudden illness.
Kathleen was born Dec. 28, 1935, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of William and Marguerite Moore. Kathleen worked at Quaker Oats for 35 years.
Survivors include her three daughters, Kathleen, Carol and Barbara; five grandchildren, Casey (Sean), Tony (Vicki), Michael, Ashley and Alysha; a great-grandson, Talyn; and a sister, Mary.
She was preceded in death by her son, Dennis; parents; seven brothers and a sister.
Per Kathleen's request, there will be no services.

Memorials may be directed to the cancer society of your choice.
Kathleen will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
