President’s response was hypocritical

I am a firm believer in the importance of civil discourse, so I am upset with Samantha Bee and her recent attack on Ivanka Trump. I like Bee, but I believe her comments were inappropriate and run counter to the important social and political conversation that we need to foster.
That said, I find it hypocritical for President Donald Trump to call for Bee's firing. Ted Nugent used the same kind of language, and worse, in personal attacks on Hillary Clinton. Trump's response? Invite him to the White House.
