Lloyd Leo Schropp died Sunday, April 12, 2015, at Mercy Iowa City at the age of 86 years.
He is survived by his wife, Colleen of Conroy; six children, Lloyd (Bennie Jo) Schropp of Parnell, Pam (Dale) Walter of Williamsburg, Larry (Patti) Schropp of Parnell, Penny (Troy) Seaver of North Liberty, Paula Schropp of Conroy and John Schropp of Parnell; 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley Meade of Holbrook and Patricia Martens of Williamsburg; and a brother, Dean (Frances) Schropp of Williamsburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Willie Schropp.
Celebration of Life service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 16, at the Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Williamsburg. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date in St. Joseph Cemetery in Parnell.
Memorials are for Mercy Hospital Foundation or donor's choice.
