Dhondt, Marvin James
Marvin James Dhondt, 81, of Parnell, died Sunday, Aug. 23, 2009, in his home. Celebration of Life service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Williamsburg. Burial will be at the Yankee Point Cemetery, rural North English, with military rites. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with a VFW Service at 7 p.m.
He is survived by his wife, Nedra of Parnell; three children, Rickey Dhondt of North English, Jerry (Rita) Dhondt of Williamsburg, and Samra Ollendick of Hills; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Laurene Gorsch of Millersburg.
Marvin was preceded in death by his parents and a son-in-law, Joe Ollendick.
