Blaylock, Leon Elvin
Leon Elvin Blaylock died Monday, Aug. 12, 2013, at his home after a short illness at the age of 87 years. Celebration of Life service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, at Powell Funeral Home, North English. Pastor Edwin Jordan will officiate. Burial will be in Brethren Cemetery near South English. Visitation will be Friday from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Mahaska-Keokuk County Hospice, the North Keokuk County Fire Department or the English Valleys Dollars for Scholars.
