MARCENE MARIE (PALUMBO) BROOKS

Marcene Marie (Palumbo) Brooks, 69, of Marion, passed away Friday, Dec. 11, 2020, at her home. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Marcene was born June 13, 1951, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Mike and Marcella (Roushar) Palumbo. She graduated from LaSalle High School. Marcene worked in the factory at Square D until her retirement in 2013.
She is survived by her son, Brian Porter; brothers, Mike (Jennie) Palumbo, Doug (Denise) Palumbo, Larry Palumbo and David Palumbo; sisters, Carol (Mike) Lackey and Mary (Tom) Reddin; special friend, Bill Beckman; and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces.
Marcene was preceded in death by her parents; and one niece, Sara Palumbo.
Memorials in Marcene's memory may be directed to St. Ludmila Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids.
