Decker, Kayla Lynn
Kayla Lynn Decker, 21, of Waterloo, formerly of Jesup, died Saturday, April 20, 2013, at Allen Memorial Hospital, Waterloo.
The daughter of Shad Neil Decker and Melinda Sue (Weber) Decker, she graduated from Jesup High School with the class of 2009, then graduated from Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids as a Certified Surgical Technician.
Survived by her parents, Shad Decker and Melinda “Lyndie” Decker; brother, Kyle Decker; maternal grandparents, Dennis and Charlean Weber; paternal grandfather, Louie (Irma Wendt) Decker of Cedar Rapids; paternal grandmother, Ruthe (Roger) Gentry of Sand Point, Idaho; stepgrandmother, Sherry Decker of Cedar Rapids; stepgreat grandmother, Norma Hepler; and special friend, Tad Talaska.
Funeral Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 24, at Jesup Bible Fellowship, Jesup, with burial at St. Mary's Cemetery, Gilbertville. Visitation from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the White Funeral Home, Jesup.
