Scott Barnett went to be with his Lord on April 20, 2018, after a long illness. Graveside services: 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2018, at Community Cemetery, rural Deep River, by Pastor Dan Wiersema. Arrangements are by Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Judy Gorsch Barnett; brother, Steve (Susan) Barnett; 10 brothers- and sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.
Scott was born April 8, 1952, to James and Irene Barnett. He graduated from Washington High School in 1971.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorials may be directed to the family in care of Stewart Baxter.
