Bruening, Betty L.
Betty L. Bruening, 77, of Decorah, died Sunday, April 8, 2012, at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse, Wis. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 11, at Decorah Lutheran Church with Pastor Dave Sorenson officiating. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery in Decorah. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Fjelstul Funeral Home in Decorah and after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
Survivors include her three children, Cindy (Fred) Leonhart of Decorah, Bonnie (Joe) Doty of Orlando, Fla., and Dennis (Karen) Christopherson of Fairfax; seven grandchildren; and two sisters, Donna Severson of Calmar, and Grace (Kenneth) Bolson of Decorah.
