Jaxsen Richard Ruth was born into the arms of the angels on April 20, 2013, at 3:22 a.m. He weighed four pounds, 13.7 ounces and was 18 inches long. He was the son of Jamie Lynn Dlask and Scott Varland.

He was greeted and now sits with his maternal grandfather, Richard “Dick” Ruth; and great-grandfathers, James Parker and Richard F. Ruth. Together, they will watch over Jamie and her family.

He is survived by his maternal great-grandmothers, Roberta Parker of Tipton and Emily Young of Oxford; maternal grandmother, Elaine Ruth of Tipton; aunt and uncle, Kara Robinson and Dave Ross of Tipton; three cousins, Bryon, Brandon and Braydon of Tipton; stepsister, Autumn Varland of Thorton, Colo. and many uncles, aunts and cousins.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. May 2 at Fry Funeral Home, Tipton, with memorial services beginning at 8 p.m. The Rev. David Hitch will officiate.
