Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 15, at Quasqueton Union Church, Quasqueton, Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 14, at White Funeral Home, Independence.

Richard is survived by his wife, Robin Amfahr; sons, Jay Sandberg and Ryan (Heather) Amfahr; two daughters, Jaclyn Sandberg and Jennifer (Chris) Donley; seven grandchildren; and two brothers and sisters.
Richard was employed as a construction laborer and was a member of Laborers Union No. 47 in Cedar Rapids.
