Dwight Verle Sanders, 65, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2018, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids with his wife and son by his side.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie; son, Jason (Angie) Sanders; and four grandchildren, Gabe, Cooper, Chloe and Gavin, all of Hyrum, Utah; brother, Doyle (Margaret) Sanders of Johnston; sister-in-law, Mary (Brad) Spratt of Muscatine; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 12, at Wesley United Methodist Church in Vinton. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, at the church and one hour prior to services Thursday. Interment: Evergreen Cemetery, Vinton.
A memorial fund has been established in Dwight's honor.
