IRMA JOSEPHINE THERESA SCHWENDINGER

Irma Josephine Theresa Schwendinger, 96, a former longtime resident of Earlville, Iowa, departed this life Dec. 16, 2020, at the Good Neighbor Home in Manchester, Iowa. Clifton-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Earlville, Iowa, is assisting the family.
She was born in Farley, Iowa, on March 29, 1924, the youngest of six children of William Eligius and Mary Elmeda (Kofmehl) Schwendinger. Irma was a member of St. Joseph parish in Earlville. Her strong Catholic faith was the center of her life.
Irma is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Francis, Raymond and Gerald and their spouses; and sisters, Irene and Doris and their spouses.
A mass of Christian burial, with Rev. Dennis J. Quint officiating, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, at St. Joseph Church in Earlville with internment immediately following in St. Joseph Cemetery in Earlville. COVID-19 restrictions, with use of masks and distancing, are required.
