Moser gymnasts dominate at USTA meet in Maquoketa

Thirty-nine members of the Moser School of Dance and Gymnastic won titles at the USTA Power Tumbling meet held in Maquoketa recently with 10 earning high point at their level.

The high point athletes who won titles were Kayli Tegeler, Annie Gulick, Hannabelle Erickson, Keely Recker, Kylie Belinsky, Amy Morris, Natalie Ries, Paul Morris, Aaliyah Rosenthal and Lexus Fleming.

Other winners were Carter Phillips, Katelyn Mangold, Myra Clasen, Meliah Eiben, Amiya Birkel, Paige Kremer, Claire Jaeger, Memphis Voelker, Gabrielle Guilford. Katelin Ante, Madelyn Schmitz, Kaydence Ahart, Grace Funke, Brian Kammiller, Kennedy Bulman, Ella Glawatz, Megan Pierschbacher, Ava Nolan, Alaina Mead, Tenley Bormann, Elyse Konrardy, Nolan Urbain, Maya Pierce, Ella Vaighn, Destiny Wall, Kaleah Belinsky, Avery Fette, Laura Pierschbacher and Adalyn Fette.

Runners-up were Gertrude Wall, Olivia Thier, Leah Ries, Cheyenne Varner, Brooklin Ante, Olivia Besler, Mikya Britton, Kate Green, Kiley Wall, Claire Hillebrand, Ingrid Vaughn, Kennedi Bevans, Whitney Long, Tucker Erickson, Ella Oberbreckling, Charly Lynch. Ella Recker. Gracie Hillebrand, Layssa Reimer, Madilyn Payne, Memphis Peyton, Kaia Engelhardt, Mya Ortner, Faith Kirby and Lainey Payne. Makayla Gasper placed third, along with Chloe Bennett, Rachel Clayberg, Kadence Pape, Sophia Geistkemper, Tabitha Etten, Libby Knipper, Allie Esmann, Adysen Frieden, Kreighton Peck, Claire Cahalan, Emma Fisher, Zoey Hyde, Starrlynn Brockob, Addison Norton, Myra Peyton, Makenna Payne, Jorgie Schulte, Ella Frieden, Lilly.

WILKINSON, YORK SHINE FOR SOMERSAULTS

Addison Wilkinson of Somersaults Gymnastics Center in Cedar Rapids won three events and teammate Emma York captured two at the Blizzard Beach Xcel Invitational last weekend in Hiawatha.

Both in Xcel Silver, Addison Wilkinson won the vault, uneven bars and all around in Junior A while York captured the vault and uneven bars in Junior B.

Other Somersaults winners were Audra Peterson (vault), Emeri Hill (floor exercise) and Timberli Hosek (uneven bars) in Xcel Bronze, and Aubrey Langton and Annie Haars (vault) in Xcel Silver.

Placewinners top-three were Bentley Rust in Bronze, and Kiersten Swart and Natalie Osterberg in Silver, and Ava Christensen, Logan Kalous and Grace Prull in Gold.

CRAG'S DOYLE, SECORA WIN 3 BLIZZARD BEACH TITLES

Megan Doyle and Emersyn Secora of the Cedar Rapids Association of Gymnastics won three events apiece at the Blizzard Beach Xcel Invitational in Hiawatha last weekend.

Doyle, in Xcel Gold, won the vault, bars and all around and Secora, in Xcel Gold, captured the vault, bars and floor exercise. Lauren Miller of CRAG, Silver, won the beam and tied for first in the floor exercise.

Other CRAG winners were Amara Isaac (bars) and Apolline Pedron (bars) in Silver; Hailey Carolan (bars) and Hannah Behrends (floor) in Gold; and Meghan Ulmer in Platinum.

CRAG placewinners were Ashleigh Dunham and Danielle Clayberg in Silver, Alivia Foster and Maggie Schlamp in Gold, and Faith Pladsen in Platinum.
