Marilyn (Kern) Suchy, 82, of Raleigh, N.C., passed away peacefully July 31, 2014.
Marilyn, the daughter of Leo and Lucille Kern, grew up in Belle Plaine. She was the oldest of five children, including Janet, Beth, Ronnie and Connie.
Survivors include her husband, Don; sons, Allen and Jim (Lauren), and daughter, Angie (Gary) Ellis, all of North Carolina; siblings, Janet, Beth and Ronnie; and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Marilyn had a zest for life, traveling and making friends. She never met a stranger she didn't like and share a laugh.
