Heather Lynn (Cohrt) Kaiser, 38, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2020, at home in Van Horne. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date with interment in Keystone Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established.
Heather was born Aug. 28, 1982, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Gary and Karen (Blanchard) Cohrt, Heather's greatest joy in life was her daughter Laurynn. She dearly loved the time they shared together.
She is survived by her daughter, Laurynn Kaiser; her mother, Karen Cohrt of Van Horne; siblings, Rob (Kandon) Hathaway of Belle Plaine and Christine (Mike) Vest of Grinnell; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gary Cohrt, in 2013.
