Paul Douglas Burrows, 59, of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, May 18, 2015, from complications of lung cancer at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Teahen Funeral Home is serving the family.
Paul is survived by his son, Ryan of Cedar Rapids; a brother, William (Linda) Burrows of Cortlandt Manor, N.Y.; his former wife, Patricia Mullins of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Jerry and Don.
Paul was born March 28, 1956, in Belle Plaine, the son of Richard W. and Gertrude K. Kearney Burrows. Paul graduated with a B.A. degree from the University of Northern Iowa and was employed as a skycap at The Eastern Iowa Airport.
Paul was an avid Chicago Cubs and Iowa Hawkeyes fan, liked his work, and enjoyed fishing with his son, Ryan.
