Imogene Ann Feldmann, 84, of Dyersville, formerly of Worthington, died Sunday, Oct. 26, 2014, at
9:18 a.m., at Oak Crest Manor in Dyersville. Friends and relatives of Imogene may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, at the Reiff Funeral Home in Dyersville, where a wake service will be held at
8 p.m. Services for Imogene will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, at the Basilica of St. Francis Xavier in Dyersville, with the Rev. Dennis Quint presiding. Burial will be held in St. Paul's Cemetery in Worthington.
She was born May 15, 1930, in Turkey River, Iowa, the daughter of Arnold Peter and Regina Rose (Ulbrich) Bries. She received her education in the Holy Trinity School in Luxemburg, Iowa. On Sept. 14, 1954, she was united in marriage to Carl J. Feldmann at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Luxemburg. He preceded her in death on April
14, 2003.
She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Parish in Dyersville and the Catholic Order of Forester Court No. 607.
She is survived by six sons, Dennis (Micki) Feldmann of Cedar Rapids, David (Beth) Feldmann of Urbana, Dean (Mary Jo) Feldmann of Keystone, Carl G. Feldmann of Dyersville, Charles (Erica) Feldmann of Waterloo and Duane (Cathy) Feldmann of Waterloo; four daughters, Carlyn (Chester) DeFlieger, Cheryl (David) Klostermann, Joyce (Dennis "Fuzzy") Deutmeyer and Karen (Gerald) Hoffmann, all of Dyersville; 24 grandchildren; 11 brothers, LeRoy (Verna) Bries of Garnavillo, Roger Bries (and friend Virgene) of Manchester, Virgil (Janice) Bries of Luxemburg, Kenneth (Lois) Bries of Dyersville, Elmer (Theresa) Bries of Monona, Michael (Marieta) Bries of New Vienna, Charles (Mary Jean) Bries of St. Olaf, Ronald (Lee) Bries of Dyersville, Harold (Lois) Bries of Guttenberg, Gerald (Karen) Bries and Arnold W. (Joyce) Bries, both of Dyersville; two sisters, Thelma (David) Oberbroeckling of New Vienna and Carol (John) Hartmann of Guttenberg; and sisters and brothers-in-law, Rosela Feldmann of Dyersville, Grace Feldmann of Worthington, Delmar (Mary Lou) Feldmann of Epworth, Leonard (Caroline) Feldmann of Cuba City, Wis., Margie Lehmann of Farley, Mary (Louis) Ronnebaum of Earlville, Rose Feldmann of Dyersville, Darlene Bries of Dyersville and Dorthy Wille of Garnavillo.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Anna Marie Bries and JoAnn (Donald) Wille; a brother, James Bries; sisters and brothers-in-law, Marie Hall-Streif, Rita (Charles) Meyer, Raymond (Millie), Andrew, Lawrence, Leo, Donald and Francis Feldmann, Lucille (Al "Wish") Vonderhaar and Tom Feldmann.
