Friday at the Iowa girls' state basketball tournament: All the scores, stories and highlights
Champions were crowned in Class 1A and 2A Friday as Springville and Western Christian took home state titles, while finals matchups were set in 3A and 4A.

CLASS 2A CHAMPIONSHIP
No. 4 Western Christian 51, No. 2 Treynor 48
An 11-0 fourth-quarter run propelled Western from down 42-36 to up five with 3:37 to go, and the Wolfpack hung on to win its fourth state championship.
Erica Bousema had a game-high 17 points for the Wolfpack, including the go-ahead free throws with 12 seconds left.
Konnor Sudmann appeared to hit the game-tying layup on the next possession, but was whistled for a charge.
Sudmann had 15 points for the Cardinals, Madelyn Deitchler 16 and eight rebounds.

It's ruled a charge, and Western Christian hangs on to beat Treynor for the Class 2A
CLASS 1A CHAMPIONSHIP
No. 1 Springville 45, No. 2 Turkey Valley 36
For the second straight year, Springville beat Turkey Valley in the Class 1A title game.
This one came with less drama.
The Trojans got within 35-31 on Sadie Nymeyer's 3-pointer in the fourth quarter, but the O's closed it out on the free-throw line.
Mikayla Nachazel had a game-high 15 points and 14 rebounds for Springville and was named 1A all-tournament captain. Rylee Menster also scored 15 and joined Nachazel on the all-tournament team.
Nymeyer and Shelby Reicks each finished with 13 for the Trojans, who were scoreless for the first 6:49 and trailed 17-11 at halftime.
CLASS 5A SEMIFINALS
No. 2 West Des Moines Valley 55, No. 3 Iowa City West 48
Valley outscored West 41-27 in the second half to advance to the championship game.
The Tigers led by 10 with 5:08 to play, but West cut it to 47-46 on Cailyn Morgan's layup with 2:53 left.
Valley hit 7 of 8 free throws down the stretch while the Women of Troy had three turnovers in the final 90 seconds.
Logan Cook had a game-high 17 points for West. Hannah Fuller led Valley with 13 and Alex Honnold added 12.
No. 5 Cedar Falls 48, No. 1 Indianola 44
Kiana Barney and Cynthia Wolf blocked potential game-tying Indianola shots in the final 30 seconds as the Tigers hung on to stun the top-ranked Indians.
Wolf had 11 points, Hailey Paup 10 and Ally Conrad nine for CF, which built a 10-point lead in the second quarter and led 21-17 at halftime.
Grace Berg's layup with 2 minutes remaining got Indianola within 46-44, but the Indians were scoreless the rest of the way. Berg, a Missouri commit, was 3 of 10 from the floor and finished with 11 points, tied for a team-high with Maddie Sorensen.
CLASS 4A SEMIFINALS
No. 1 Marion 33, No. 4 Pella 24
Not a typo. The Lady Dutch shot just 17.9 percent and turned it over 20 times as the Indians advanced to the title game.
Marion wasn't much better at 29.4 percent shooting. Marion led 20-10 at halftime, but Pella pulled within 24-20 in the third quarter after back-to-back 3s, then 26-24.
The Indians, led by Randi Wright's nine points, never gave up the lead in the second half.
No. 8 North Scott 56, No. 6 Cedar Rapids Xavier 49
North Scott outscored Xavier 21-13 in the fourth quarter to advance to the 4A championship game.
The Lancers had a 38-21 edge on the boards, led by Grace Boffelli, who had 17 points and nine rebounds and Rylie Rucker with 11 points and eight rebounds. Karli Rucker added 14 points.
Lexi Noonan led Xavier with 20 points. The Saints led by two with 2:38 in the third, but the Lancers went on a 7-0 run into the fourth.
