TaxACT, Cedar Rapids, has acquired Balance Financial, a provider of web-based personal finance management tools. Balance Financial will retain all of its employees and continue to operate out of its Bellevue, Wash., office.
Marco Inc., based in St. Cloud, Minn., with offices in Cedar Rapids and Decorah, has purchased the hosted/cloud services business of Twin Cities-based InCompass IT.
