Bernie Sanders in Iowa City today

IOWA CITY - Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders returns to Iowa today and Saturday to stump for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.
His itinerary includes a stop at 2:45 p.m. today at College Green Park, 600 E. College St in Iowa City. The event opens at 1:45 p.m.

On Friday, November 4 and Saturday, November 5, Senator Sanders plans to discuss Clinton's plans to build the economy compared to the plans of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump. Sanders is expected to advocate for raising the minimum wage, making public colleges and universities tuition free and making changes to the criminal justice system.
Before his stop in Iowa City, Sanders rallies at 11:30 a.m. today at Modern Woodmen Park, 209 S. Gaines St., Davenport.
After leaving Iowa City, he heads to the Maucker Union rooftop at the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls for a 4:45 p.m. appearance.
On Saturday, Sanders is to appear at 1:15 p.m. at the Scheman Building on the campus of Iowa State University, 1805 Center Drive in Ames.
