James "Jim" Alfred Haines, 86, of West Union, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2014, at the Good Samaritan Society in West Union. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, at Bethel Presbyterian Church in West Union, with the Rev. Galen Smith officiating. Inurnment will follow in Hawkeye Cemetery, Hawkeye. A public visitation will be from 4 until 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 8, at Burnham-Wood Funeral Home in West Union. S.K. Rogers Funeral Home of West Union is in charge of arrangements.
